One of my two biggest problems learning Esperanto is the Correlatives. They are set up very logically, but for some reason I can never seem to grasp them completely. There exist many versions of the correlative “cheat sheet”, but I’ve yet to see one with three things that I’ve added onto mine.
First, in order to help learn better, I place the prefix “Ki-” at top because it is typically a question. That way, everything that follows becomes an answer. For example, Kiam? (When?) can be answered with iam (some time), iam ajn (any time), ĉiam (always), tiam (then), ĉi tiam (now), neniam (never).
Second, I added “I- ajn” and “Ĉi ti-” as prefixes which, not technically considered correlatives, still fits in and are built out by the other suffixes.
Finally, I added notes about exceptions which help clarify some details. A higher-quality PDF version can be downloaded here: new correlatives
